1. Agreement to Terms

 

Welcome to G7Davie. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the G7Davie website and its services (the "Platform"). By creating an account or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

 

2. Description of Service

 

G7Davie is an open and public community platform designed to connect Christians, churches, and ministries in Davie County, North Carolina. Our goal is to provide a central hub where community needs can be made known and opportunities to serve can be shared.

Important Disclaimer: G7Davie acts as a passive conduit for information. We are a community bulletin board, not a direct service provider, charity, or vetting agency. We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy or legitimacy of any user or any content posted on the Platform.

 

3. User Accounts

 

  • Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account on G7Davie.

  • Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

  • Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate.

 

4. User Conduct and Responsibilities

 

You agree not to use the Platform to:

  • Post any content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, hateful, harassing, or otherwise objectionable.

  • Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state your affiliation with a person or entity.

  • Post any content that you do not have a right to make available under any law or contractual relationship.

  • Post spam, chain letters, or any form of unauthorized commercial solicitation.

  • Knowingly post false, misleading, or fraudulent information.

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users of the Platform. You agree to act with wisdom, discernment, and caution in all communications and interactions.

 

5. User-Generated Content

 

  • Your Responsibility: You are solely and entirely responsible for all content that you post, upload, or otherwise make available on the Platform ("User Content").

  • No Vetting: You acknowledge and agree that G7Davie does not screen, vet, or endorse any User Content. We do not conduct background checks on users or verify the needs they post. The responsibility for due diligence rests with you.

  • License to G7Davie: By posting User Content, you grant G7Davie a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute your User Content in connection with operating and providing the Platform.

  • Right to Remove Content: While we are not obligated to monitor the Platform, we reserve the right to remove any User Content that we, in our sole discretion, believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to our community.

 

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  • "AS IS" SERVICE: The Platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

  • NO GUARANTEE: G7Davie does not guarantee that any need posted will be met or that any offer of help is legitimate. We are not a party to any agreement or transaction between users.

  • LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: To the fullest extent permitted by law, G7Davie, its founder, and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Platform; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Platform; or (c) any transaction initiated through the Platform.

 

7. Intellectual Property

 

The G7Davie name, logo, and all related designs and slogans are trademarks of G7Davie. You may not use such marks without our prior written permission. All other content on the Platform is the property of its respective owners.

 

8. Termination

 

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause or notice to you, for any reason, including for any breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease.

 

9. Governing Law

 

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

 

10. Changes to Terms

 

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our Platform after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
